Investing in double glazed windows is a very smart decision. These innovative window designs provide a far higher level of overall efficiency when compared to outdated, single pane models. The good news is that these windows are always warranted to last for a specific number of years. Once they fail, the company that has installed them will be responsible for replacing. This is only true, however, if the structures are still under warranty when this actually occurs.

One vital thing to note about this problem is that it can quickly spiral out of control if left unchecked. Moisture always creates problems around wood, drywall and other building materials. This is because it creates the perfect conditions for both mildew and mold.

Having your damaged windows replaced is therefore key for protecting other aspects of your property from moisture-related harm. If you do not, you may need to replace the building materials that surround your window over time. It is important to note that both the condensation on the glass and the mold that results from it will greatly diminished the overall aesthetics of your home.

This is also a problem that you want to take care of ahead of selling your property. Double glazed units that suffer from this issue will not pass pre-sale inspections. Due to this fact, lenders will not be willing to approve the financing that buyers need in order to make their purchases go through. This means that you will definitely need to get this problem fixed before this transaction can come to a successful end.
